Christmas Eve Celebration

Better late than never, right? Here are pictures from Christmas Eve. We have friends here from Ukarumpa so we all made some yummy food and ate it together!

Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole (with onion rings on top), rolls, jello and salad!
Here is a picture of the dads holding Melanie and Gwennie (the little ladies who share a birthdate).
Side by side:
And another (held by Melissa and Amanda):

On the walk back, we saw this lovely 8 ft long python over by our flat! Scary!
Caleb and I had to figure out this year what we would do about Santa. In the end, we just tried to make a really big deal about him and tried to emphasize the real meaning of Christmas. But, we did let Ben put out "milk and cookies".....ok, maybe not milk and cookies....we put out chips and salsa instead. Caleb said that if we were going to entertain this silly idea, then he wanted Ben to leave out something worth eating. :)

Ben with Santa's salty snack.....and a note that says "For Santa".
