Merry Christmas!

What an amazing Christmas….this will be one that we will never forget.  This is the year that Ben really began to understand what in the world was going on.  Granted, we still have a long way to go in teaching him more about the message of Christmas, the point of Christmas and the life and death and resurrection of Jesus…..but, this is definitely the year he started to understand about gifts, carols and Christmas cookies!

Christmas Eve (and Christmas Day) come earlier here in PNG than in the States.  We are 13 hours ahead of our home country!

Also, we feel so blessed by our friends and family.  They all went Christmas shopping for us back in August…..wrapped the gifts and had them sent via sea crate to PNG.  It took 3 months for the packages to arrive, but they got here in time for Christmas.

Thank you to everyone who sent packages to us for Christmas…..also, thank you again to everyone who has sent us a package during the time we have lived here in PNG.  We feel like we have had mini-Christmases all year.

It is hard to be away from friends and family…..and since it is still Christmas here, I do not want to blog about that right now.  I will just leave you with some pictures from Christmas morning……and will blog more tomorrow during YOUR Christmas! =0)
