My sister-in-law Jill organized an AWESOME cook-out that took place during the same time as the rehearsal. Since so many people were arriving from out of town and different times, she and I thought it best to throw a party at her parent's house (with the best pool ever) so that people could just come and go as they arrived....but didn't have to stay too long if they were tired and needed a break.
We arrived early to get our swim on.
Ben with his cousin Alex. Alex is a year older than Ben and Emory is a year younger. Their sister Evie is one month older than Mel. So, you can see why we LOVE being around family.....for the cousins!!! (And of course, many other reasons....)
We were able to see Caleb's uncle and aunt and cousin.
Here is a picture of Grandad who was in good spirits that whole night.
Caleb's brother Carson on the left and Cam (manning the grill) on the right. Carson is currently serving overseas with the Air Force right now, so we are so happy we got this time to spend with him (and his new wife...she is in the above picture behind grandad). I am so disappointed with my picture-taking. But, it was kind of a busy time in our lives....
Caleb's aunt Laurie just loved spending time with Mel and Evie. (You will see more pictures of her later.)
