3 Holidays in 3 Hours- Happy Thanksgiving!

The girls started arriving around 8:15pm. We all picked out our rooms for the night, organized all our decorations for the various holidays and then started to set up for Thanksgiving. When the clock struck 9pm, it was officially Thanksgiving as far as we were all concerned.

The decorations and fall-theme filled the WA Center.

There was even the smell of freshly baked bread throughout the room....

There is a story behind these place cards. On one side, they have everyone's names with fall leaves. But, when you flip them over, they spell Christmas Time. Then, if you flip them over one more time, they say Happy New Year! What can I say, I had a little time on my hands and I wanted to capture the 3-in-1 theme.

Hannah and Jodie. They raided the High School prop room and found these cute costumes. It really made it feel like Thanksgiving to have these two running around. Now, if only someone would have dressed like a turkey!

Leslie with her fall sweater. Who has these cute sweaters in PNG? You don't really need them here.....so it was fun to pull them out and wear them to the party!

The food for Thanksgiving included Hannah B's oh-so-delicious "turkey" stuffing. Kelsey's freshly baked rolls, Hannah S's beautiful apple pie and Kaela's yummy pumpkin pie. We decided to start with dessert first so that we could enjoy it with our coffee. Some of us thought we might need a bit of caffeine to start the evening.

Before we served pie, we all took turns going around the circle and saying what we were thankful for. There were tears. For most of these girls, they will be going off to college all over the world. A general theme for the night was just how thankful we are to have each other.

Oh...and look at this oh so cute candy corn candle:

Hannah's mom let her bring it to the party warily. Instead of lighting it for the hour, we only lit it during our "I'm Thankful" sharing time. We passed it around, each girl shared and then we quickly blew it out. You just can't find cute candles like this in PNG.

Then it was time for pie. Luckily, our store JUST got apples in. It would not have been the same without apple pie.

We can buy pumpkin at the market. These pies were soooooo good!

Caleb knew about this party and was a little envious of all the food he knew was being made for it. He begged me to bring him a plate of food. I played the pregnant card and asked him to not make me feel guilty if I didn't make it there with food. Well, the girls found out that he was wanting some food and ALL put a plate of goodies together for him. They included food from all the holidays and we drove it over to him. They all told him how thankful they are for him since he allows me to spend so much time with them. They call him "Daddy Bossman". (Long story.)

After we dropped off Caleb's food, it was time to start setting up for......CHRISTMAS!!!!
