We had a slip and slide birthday for Ben and his friend Lukas when we got back. Lukas and Ben have birthdays really close together. I think they are like a month apart or so. We invited all the kids that are right around the same age as the boys….and then the families of those friends. We had had a lot of rain the days before, so we were afraid it would be rained out. But, it proved to be a beautiful day. It was so fun to catch up with our friends again right when we got back…..and it was a huge help to have Lukas’ mom helping out with the food and décor. YAY for friends and for the community here. It really is an amazing community!
